We’ve all done it at one time or another – tried to carry one mug too many rather than use a tray. The result is predictable - burnt fingers and stains on the carpet.

brave_coat_range3.jpg

This Mountain Coat Range would be a favorite of the late, great Bob Ross. Using excess material from our cut sheets, we've exposed the Maple interior signifying the snow-capped mountain peaks of the Grand Tetons. In contrast with the dark tones of the walnut, this coat hook will bring a functional, natural landscape into your home. The mountain range's four available hanging peaks enable you to hang four or more items. Connect them end to end to extend your range.

Dimensions: 30"(L) x 1.5"(W) x 9"(H)

Material: FSC certified Maple, Walnut veneer, durable water-based finish

somb.jpg

Designed to be mounted to the underside of any worksurface, this sombrero-shaped spool reins in unruly cable by winding it around its core and firmly anchoring the exiting cable into any of the three V-shaped notches: This unique design feature prevents the cables from accidentally dislodging or unwinding. Sombrero is molded in a semi-flexible elastomer and accomodates most cord diameters, ranging from smaller data cables (Ethernet, Firewire, USB, etc...) to larger power cords. Sombrero is easily installed using only a screwdriver and can also be mounted vertically onto a wall or the back of a cabinet.

V-a.g.r.a1.jpg

The expressive potentialities of living and reactive materials such as shape-memory alloys already used by Romolo Stanco many years ago with a pioneering structural project developed in co-operation with CNR led to the creation of living lamps, embryonic and morpho-organic articles that come to life, move and react as living creatures stimulated by light.Their design passing over any kind of technical ostentation is inspired by the dynamic fluency of the processes of cellular separation and, fed also by the sensation of life aroused by the item, led to the development of an embryonic shape that hangs down because of the force of gravity, turned off and lifeless like a proboscis unable to support its own weight, like a drop of fluid, crystallized just before reaching the ground. But, as soon as it´s switched on like a kind of magic the lamp becomes animated, as it was fed by a spark of life. It starts to move in space, it rises up, making a fool of the force of gravity; lighting up, it takes shape and as long as it´s left on it remains steady, strong and firm, twisted in the air as it was supported by a mysterious force. Then, when it´s switched off, slowly it lets itself go down, yielding to its own weight, and falls asleep waiting for a new flash of life. V/a.g.r.a. is the version of the lamp with an animated bracket hanging from the wall (table and exterior versions will be coming soon).
